Louisiana Charter Fishing
Welcome to Ellender Charters. We offer inshore and near coastal fishing trips. We fish the waters south of Houma, Louisiana. These waters range from south of Morgan City, Louisiana, to south of Fourchon, Louisiana. A typical trip departs from Cocodrie, LA and depending on the type of fishing, the boat ride can be 10 minutes or over an hour. Like I said above, our fishing grounds cover many miles and with all this area, comes an abundance of fish.
On an inshore trip, we generally target redfish and speckled trout, but we also catch many other species. These fish include redfish, speckled trout, black drum, and sheepshead.
A near coastal fishing charter targets speckled trout, redfish, mangrove snapper, and sheepshead. The time of year dictates when we can target these fish.
Ellender Charters caters to your wants, so if you want to strictly catch redfish, then that is what we will try to do. If you are like the majority of people and just want to catch, then we can cater to those wants as well. We guarantee you will have a great time!

Louisiana Charter Fishing Rates
Ellender Charters works with groups of all sizes. Whether you are a couple wanting to explore Louisiana's beautiful scenery or a corporation wanting to entertain clients, we can accommodate your needs. We have multiple guides and can entertain groups of 40+ people. Our packages include: inshore and near coastal fishing, as well as lodging. All bookings require a $200 deposit per boat and become non refundable within a month of the trip.
Inshore Fishing
1-4 People - $900 Plus bait if used
Rates do not include bait. Rates include fuel, ice, fishing pole usage, tackle, and fish cleaning. Bait (shrimp, crabs, or croakers) usually runs between $40 and $100.
Weathered out days will be rescheduled.
Due to past experiences, if you break and/or damage anything while onboard the boat, because of negligence, you are responsible for the replacement cost of that item at the end of the trip.
Meeting times fluctuate depending upon sunrise times. Guests will be contacted by their captain to receive their specific meeting time.

All bookings require a $200 deposit upon reservation. Cancellations within one month of trip with forfeit the deposit. Weathered out days will be rescheduled and the deposit will go towards new date. All deposits are good for one year from weathered out day.
If cancellations are made within one week of trip, then full price of charter will be due.
