My name is Captain Josh Ellender.  I have been professionally guiding since the beginning of 2008.  I started out my career as a hunting and fishing guide for Plains All American Pipeline. In 2012 I decided to join my dad as a co-owner and operator of Light Tackle Charters.  We had two wonderful years operating together. Since then I decided to start my new independent company called Ellender Charters. 

 

Since I can remember, I have always had a passion for fishing.  I was often teased in high school because I wanted to go to the fishing camp on weekends instead of going out on the town.  This passion has led me to where I am today.  I enjoy sharing my love for fishing with others.  The best compliment I have received was from a 75 year old man.  He said, "Out of all my years of fishing, this is the best trip I have ever experienced. Thank you."  This is my daily goal.  I want everyone who fishes with me to have the trip of a lifetime.  I promise I will do my best to make that happen for you!
